| Here is a complete assortment of Lionel's series of painted metal flat cars, including the rare red oneCars were produced in red, yellow, and grey; with blackened steel racks for pipes or logs mounted on themThe cars had integral stamped steel end railings and stepsThe number "6111" was assigned to log cars and "6121" to pipe cars, though no number of any kind appeared on any of these cars - only the word "Lionel" heat-stamped on the sideBar-end and AAR trucks were both usedThe yellow car is Like New with great pipes. The red car has logs and a tiny area of missing paint next to the log holder along with small dings. The grey car has just a ding in the paint - and a ruptured pipe being sent back after a pipeline explosion. DNS. |
